What can I offer?
Further down this page is a record of my grades, but here is what I offer in addition to just a good understanding of the subject matter...

(Almost) 24/7 support. Outside of lesson spaces, I am happy for you to contact me regarding physics/maths related questions that you struggle with. If I'm free, I will always do my best to give you some sort of a useful answer, whether that be just a message back, a brief pdf scan of some notes, or a quick video explanation. As a bonus, I don't charge for anything like this. If it's something I think will take too much time to do for free, I'll let you know before I start.

Dynamic tutoring style. I have worked with a range of students, some of whom would like me to guide the structure of each lesson, stating what will be covered each week, teaching, and assessing them. Others come to the lesson saying "I got 3b and 4c from this paper wrong, can you explain it?". The lesson will be tailored to whatever works for you. I will always give my suggestions (they come from experience) but ultimately, the decision of what we do each week and how we do it is up to you.

Extra-curricular resources. To help students understand topics better or to propel their interest, I often write some extra reading material of some sort. In the past, these have been on a range of topics, including: 'Carbon Dating', 'The Doppler Effect', the derivation of various common equations that you use at A-level but never get taught where they come from, 'Einstein's special theory of relativity', etc. These often explore some real-world applications or some really interesting ideas that are never explored until post-secondary education. The extra material is not always reading notes, after explaining drag/air resistance to a student once, I jumped on Python to simulate some golf swing trajectories with and without an atmosphere, both on Earth and (for fun) on the Moon, just to show the effect of gravity and air resistance on the trajectory of a golf ball. As before, I don't charge for these things, as they are beyond the scope of the lessons and the exam board for which the student is studying. I just provide these because it's interesting and useful. They also help me better understand the subject :)
